Abscess

Definition:

A pustule or pus-filled cavity that is large and usually referred to when it can be drained. Abscesses can appear at any part on the body. They are usually painful and warm to touch. Abscesses occur due to obstruction of the sebaceous glands or sweat glands, minor punctures of the skin or inflammation of hair follicles.
