MRI

Magnetic Resonance Imaging. A type of imaging used that is more in depth and thorough compared to CT scans and can see soft tissue well, thus particularly useful in strains, sprains, and damage to brain tissue. Takes longer to process than CT scans and thus usually reserved for special circumstances. “The patient might have an ichemic stroke and thus needs an MRI.”
